After a hiatus of several years due to the covid pandemic, we are
excited to have the next PHISCC meeting in person again! With some HI
surveys on the verge of commencement, several in full production and a
few already finished, the first scientific explorations and results have
already been published by our community. Therefore, it is timely to
share our excitement and to discuss outstanding scientific questions,
technical challenges and organisational issues.
The meeting will be held at the UCT Graduate School of Business next to
the Protea Hotel, Breakwater Lodge, near the V&A Waterfront in down-town
Cape Town with an abundance of hotels, restaurants and entertainment at
walking distance. The meeting venue can accommodate a maximum of 75
participants and we have been able to make a block reservation for 35
rooms at the Protea Hotel next door. It is our intention to have an
exclusively in-person meeting without remote attendance.
Please inform us at your earliest convenience in case your survey or
science team would like to organise a break-out or focus session during
the week so meeting rooms can be arranged with a non-overlapping
schedule. We are delighted to welcome you to PHISCC 2023 in Cape
Town!
