Finally, the moment we have all been waiting for! The Lustrum Committee is proud to announce that the Lustrum week will start on Tuesday the 2nd of March until Saturday the 6th.

Look at the table to see who is in the lead to win the special price!
During the whole week there will be a daily event to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Sirius A! See the list below!
On top of this, there will be a Lustrum competition for which you will need a team. Two events will be team based and you will be able to score points for your team during the whole week! With this form you can sign up as a team of 4 or 5. At the end of the week the best team will receive a special price!
Whole week — Sticker Scavenger Hunt
Can you find all the stickers scattered throughout the city?
Tuesday — Cocktail Workshop — 20:00
On the 2nd of March, we will be making two cocktails (or mocktails) together.
Wednesday — Light Pollution with Forum — 20:00
Get to hear more about the night sky in Groningen: starcounting, light pollution and how we map the darkness of the sky.
Thursday — Galaxy Cluedo — 20:00
Somewhere in March, in an alternative universe where there was no pandemic, all Kapteyners (lived their lives as usual and) minded their own business. On the following morning, the Lustrum committee went to Kapteyn for the final preparation for the Lustrum week. They were shocked to find out that the director of Kapteyn, Leon Koopmans, had been killed in a mysterious fashion.
Come and join us on the 4th of March to find out who the killer was during a game of Galaxuedo! We will start 20:00 and go until all teams found the killer! The fastest team will get a prize and points for the lustrum competition.
Friday — Sirius AMBROSIA — 19:00
KFC is organising a wonderful dinner for the lustrum week on the 5th of March 19:00. The theme of the dinner is greek mythology so we encourage you to come dressed as you favourite greek god, hero or monster!
Saturday — Armstrong Lustrum Race
On Saturday 6th March Armstrong is organizing another remote racing event using the app Strava.
As a team of four, you must cover a total of 30km, 20km by bike, 10km on foot. You are not allowed to be more than 2 together at one place. Deciding how much any individual does of this is up to you.
The added challenge is an artistic one. To celebrate the lustrum you will not only be judged on your speed but also on the drawing that your recorded route makes on the Strava map. Be creative, draw a Sirius A logo, write the name, draw a rocket, maybe an exceptional team can draw Scott.
