Hi, I'm Veronica Allen, a PhD Student at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute in Groningen, the Netherlands.
My research focuses on observing and modeling the chemistry in star forming regions within our galaxy.
My experience is with near-infrared (Gemini North and XSHOOTER data) and sub-millimeter (ALMA) observations of high-mass young stellar objects (MYSOs).
I also work with a time-dependent chemical model to study the chemical history of star forming regions.
After July 2018, you can find me at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center where I will begin an NPP fellowship working on astrochemical modeling and observations with Steve Charnley.
