 3. Teaching

 1. Professionalisation and didactic schooling attended

PGCHE (Post Graduate Course in Higher Education), 2003, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. This is a course of 60 Nottingham credits (corresponding to 0.5 year full-time work) preparing new lecturers for teaching at University level. The course is meant to introduce new University lecturers to the academic environment. The participants are asked to use their own teaching as a research context for learning about learning and teaching. Participants' learning is supported by collegial groups (learning sets), with input from experienced academics. Learning outcomes encourage skills development, in a critical context. One learns about innovation in teaching, and to critically evaluate one's own teaching.

 5. Outreach and valorization

Outreach: see above. Since 2017 I am outreach coordinator of the Kapteyn Institute. This consists of a large number of activities,

including open days at our Observatory, organising a mobile planetarium visiting schools, giving shows at the 2D theater DOT,

working with schoolchildren, etc.
